Responsibilities: Work closely with VFX Supervisor, Environment Department Supervisor and Production to create sequences that interpret and enhance the vision of the story. Must be able to translate the ideas and feeling communicated by director, storyboards and script. Must be able to work with the team to offer effective ideas and solutions as needed. Must be able to troubleshoot technical and creative issues. Identify and flag issues as they arise and work within established protocols to fix them. Attend all necessary meetings and stay on top of all relevant changes to project / story. Adhere to set pipeline protocols. Communicate effectively with production on a regular basis and provide updates regarding progress or concerns. Attend and participate in dailies. Requirements: Advanced experience in Maya or related 3d animation software Previs and layout experience for feature films or theme park rides Modelling and dressing of previs quality sets and props Final quality camera animation Previs quality character animation Strong understanding of composition, lensing, staging, layout and image structure Strong understanding of story structure and ability to interpret it onto the screen. Proven ability to problem solve technical issues and develop creative solutions to complex shots Ability to maintain clean and organized scenes while working at a fast pace Experience with real-time game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity a plus TO APPLY: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
