SWEET DREAMS (一千零一夜)

1001 Nights (aka “Sweet Dreams”) is a Chinese Episodic Television series, directed by Jin Sha (Crystal).

Tippett Studio supervised and post-produced seven VFX-heavy sequences, including a massive computer-generated dragon and unicorn, for the show. 

A hybrid drama-love story-comedy, Tippett loved adding fantasy characters that threaten the safety of the two hero-lovers, plus a flying Pegasus, who comes to their aid.  Employing traditional hand-sculpting techniques, modeling and texture artists referenced lizards and snapping turtles to create intricate detail in the dragon’s plates, scales and wrinkles.
