When the owners of Broad Green Pictures needed an animated brand identity to play before their films, they approached Tippett Studio and Robert Hunt, the painter behind the DreamWorks ‘fishing kid’ logo. Our team created a variety of concept pitches before the BGP creative team settled on a visual journey from city to country, as seen in the finished product. Working from an oil painting, Tippett artists reverse-engineered the transition from urban landscape to a single drop of dew on a green leaf, creating an identity that hearkens back to the owners’ roots in bucolic Maryland.
