BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHUA On Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Tippett Studio was tasked with integrating photoreal sidekicks that would match the look and feel of the rest of the predominantly live action movie. The team modeled, rigged, lighted, painted and animated the Chico the Iguana and Manuel the Rat using Tippett’s proprietary fur tools and Photoshop. Tippett also created digital doubles for the animal actors for the chase scene in which Delgado matches paces with El Diablo. Additionally, the team fully produced an extravagant music video, which was featured in the trailer. The sequence stars dozens of CG chihuahuas singing and dancing amongst Aztec temples.
