November has arrived and with it two high profile Tippett Studio projects!

On November 11, 2011, Tarsem Singh’s battle epic “Immortals” arrives in theaters, featuring stunning character animation work done at Tippett Studio. From Motion-Captured performances by stunt actors, Performances were re-timed and dramatically enhanced using a process called “photosonic” speed. The power of the Gods is such that a sword-stroke or chain swing can do severe damage to the opposing Titan army. Tippett’s team got to get their hands nice and dirty with practical and simulated blood effects.

One week later, on November 18, Part 1 of the Final “Twilight Saga” movies arrives, “Breaking Dawn.” Continuing our work from the last 2 movies, Phil Tippett and Eric Leven shared VFX Supervision tasks in the oversight of the wolf creatures. One sequence at the Lumberyard was entirely designed and executed here at Tippett Studio.
