Tippett Studio animated the new logo for Broad Green Pictures

When the owners of Broad Green Pictures needed an animated brand identity to play before their films, they looked for the best in the business, hiring Tippett Studio and Robert Hunt, the painter behind the Dreamworks ‘fishing kid’ logo. Tippett Studio created a variety of concept pitches before the creative team settled on a ‘country to city’ journey as seen in the finished product. Working from the final painted frame, Tippett artists reverse-engineered the transition from urban landscape to a single drop of dew on a green leaf, creating a memorable identity that harks back to the owners’ roots in bucolic Maryland.
